Abiquiu is a small village in the high desert north of Santa Fe, better know as Georgia O'Keeffe country. After the rare occasion that it rains the desert floor becomes covered with small flowers for brief time changing the landscape. These earrings have the Abiquiu cross topped with a desert flower all a bloom with a 5mm rose cut garnet that catches the light like the red landscape surrounding Abiquiu, New Mexico. A very special earring for a very special place. Sterling Silver overlaid cross. Approx. 1 x 1 inch in size. French wire dangle (shown) or post in a vintage look polish.
